I was very pleased with my new Kahler 7300 Hybrid Tremolo. It is built very solidly and looks nice as well. I am having mine installed at the moment, so I don't know how it is going to perform, but from what I have seen on YouTube and also on some forums, a lot of people a very pleased with how they feel, perform and just the overall design being very compact and not taking up a lot of space or taking wood out of your guitar. So I hope I will be in the same boat as a lot of these other people are who own the Kahler Tremolo. The main reason I am putting a tremolo on my guitar is because of all neat things you can do with them like for instance all of the harmonics that Joe Satriani does with his Ibanez tremolo's and also some of the other greats like Steve Vai. Also you can do vibrato with chords and also the normal dive bombs and pull ups as well. One thing though, that I have learned, is not to over use the tremolo. You want to use the tremolo in a musical context and not just as a tool of creating special or crazy sound effects. A tremolo can make you sound really great on a guitar or it can make you sound terrible if you go bizerk with it. So I will use it ever now and then and not every freaking moment I can get. I know it is going to enhance my playing if done right and should be a lot of fun.
